Had this little guy show up today. Wandered in the garage while I was running the lathe and plopped down like he lived here all the time. I need a good outdoor cat and as long as he brings me mice and chipmunks I'll feed him and give him a nice outdoor home to sleep in.

The nurse just came in and said the Dr. wants to monitor her for a couple more hours. As long as everything remains as it is now, he said he'll release her at about 10.
Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers
Nice cat Ken. I didn't become a cat person until I picked up the pipe...

Cats know.
You are fortunate. All the strays which have shown up in my life were good pals. Take care of him/her. You will be please with the results.

I drove a Toyota Land Cruiser on a job in rural california. It had the three on a tree tranny. This meant we could squeeze three of us onto the front seat.
We also call it 'three on the tree' also (thought it was an Aussie thing)
My first car was an Aussie 67 Ford Falcon 250 straight 6 for $300 with three on the tree (Great motors before the d'heads went to an alloy head. I'm convinced that Ford execs over the years were paid to sabotage by the opposition)
For those of you who pray, can you add my wife and the twins baking in her to the list? She went in for a check up today and the dr. admitted her to the hospital to monitor for preterm labor. Shes just now in the 3rd trimester so it's way too early.

he is beautiful! strays seem to know where to go, lol.
She came in with a smile and a pipe. A study of contradictions, she seemed to understand more than most. Eyes shining with humor and a comforting, easy to talk to demeanor. She was a goddess in mortal skin. She raised a glass and said, "Confusion to the memory of Newton."

Haven't seen him today. I think he came and got a free meal and left me a mouse for my trouble. I honestly think he belongs to someone and was out running loose for a while.
kbareit........thatโs what I thought when I first read your post. Heโs a home cat that belongs to some neighbor near by and needed a friend.....he found you. Animals know the good from the bad๐๐๐

All is well with the whole family. Hopefully it stays this way. It is now time to rest because in a couple months that is going to be nonexistent.
Ken, if you want a rodent catcher, the humane society is always stocked full of them. Of all of my pets, my shelter pets seemed to be the happiest and best ones. It's like they know you saved them from a crappy life.

Getting ready to watch the laugh in debates after a spicy taco dinner. Our friend Cathy is in the hospital again she has a bad ticker and already has stints so saying prayers for her.
A cool 75 in the swamp with fog thick enough to eat with a spoon. Momma works from home today so I guess I have to be on my best behavior. Sipping coffee and being lazy two things I have mastered. Everyone have a nice day.

Just talked to the dr and he put my wife on bed rest until the babies are born. This is going to drive her crazy again. Also, she will drive everyone else crazy as well.

I always forget about this thread for some reason.
My days have been flying by, but Iโm enjoying this time with my wife and baby, who btw is two feet long at just shy of 3mo. He has the tall genes on both sides though so this should be fun.
Josh, sending positive thoughts your way for you and the fam!

the heat index here is currently 105 degrees F. i'm camped out with the dog, but the portable is occasionally making an odd noise. please just let it keep going until we get the main unit fixed. *sigh*
