As you get older two things happen. One you can take a nap at moments notice and two you wake for no darn reason at odd hours. Number two happens even without the naps. The problem with naps at my age is nobody wakes me up with graham crackers and milk like in kindergarten.

Some may have missed this in the weekend plans thread, but I would appreciate prayers for my wife.
She's been getting headaches that cause her face to become paralysed. It's been happening too long that the GP wants her to go to A&E to get a brain scan. She's there now. Just had her scan and is waiting results.
I just hope it's not a tumour. We get the impression that's what the doctor is thinking.
Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated, pipe-buddies.
Cheers.

Will do LL. My wife used to get severe migraines that would lead to the same thing. It hasnt been an issue for the last few years, but while it was happening, it was scary

I'm hoping that's all it is. Problem is this current migraine has been throughout the whole month of August.

Oh wow. That's a bit much and more than enough to cause concern. My wife's was due to a hormone imbalance. She traded migraines for extra children, lol.

So the wife doesn't have a tumour (thankfully), but the doc thinks it might be MS. She's going for an mri on Tuesday to confirm.

My mom had those, completely debilitating migraines that would cause partial paralysis of her face. She finally traced hers to female issues. She found a really strong, natural progesterone cream made from yams (?)that she rubs on her hands, like a lotion. Hasn't had a problem in years, unless she forgets to order and runs out.
You wife might research it...?

Paddy, ^^^this might be a solution...wife had really bad migraines that stopped once we both retired...stress can do it and bodily imbalances too...whatever it is, prayers for Him to heal her and remove the problem.

Been up since 5AM...not too unusual, like said above, retirement is a wonderful thing...to be able to nap when you need to and get up at all hours of the night...and not care. Watching the hurricane's progress....those on the East coast should be concerned...we are gassed up both truck and generator, plenty of drinking water and toilet flushing water too...plenty of food, so just waiting it out...had all the trees that could be a problem removed or trimmed severely, so as to not be a problem.

Paddy, hoping for the best possible outcome for the missus. Praying it is not MS but perhaps hormones or something solvable.
