Some aged Mississippi River in some old basket pipe. I still can't decide what I think of it. Some puffs are wonderful and with all kinds of unique flavors, while others are dull or even charcoal/ashy. Odd blend for me. I am glad to see someone has a similar reaction to Mississippi River.

Finished off C&D Pirate Kake in a Charartan small stack. First time i ever tried this tobac. Tastes good, but left the whole last third as dottle, even after drying. Odd.

Now smoking C&D Crooner in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega with a black vulcanite stem. Have enough for one more bowl. Watching The Eddie Capra Mysteries. I never watched this show before, but it was short lived, and several episodes were unused Ellery Queen scripts.

Need another quick smoke as it's only 37 degrees (but not windy tonight, thankfully) in the last week of March. So, I am going to light up some Peretti Cuban Mixture in the newest pipe I received, a Stanwell Sixtus 224 pipe with a Cuba Libre (made with some real sugar Pepsi and some Cruzan Rum (with a real lime wedge of course) along side.

About to go perch on the back deck swing with my coffee and some EMP in this tiny Sasieni bulldog. Don't know what the temperature is, but I am wearing shorts and it is quite comfortable.
