Earlier I drove my down to Orange Beach to drop my son off with some friends for spring break. On the ride back I had 1Q in a MM Country Gent for a thoroughly enjoyable ride.

Some GH Dark Birdseye in the Vauen Tivoli 140 pipe with a pint of Hop Valley Citrus Mistress on the side,
Dark Birdseye would be my second choice (only barely second, however) for a "quick smoke". It's a damn fine smoke. Semois would be my number one choice for a "quick smoke".

First smoke of the week; Rattray's 'Malcolm Flake' in a 'Remo of Copenhagen'. The tobacco is supposed to taste a bit like the 'Erinmore Flake' of old. It doesn't. The pipe was made for the Copenhagen tobacconist Remo Sørensen, whose shop was situated on the pedestrian street called 'Strøget'. It was one of seven on that street; all gone now. The Danish Pipe Shop did move to larger premises on the 1st of October 2016, though. Great house-warming party.

Starting off my smoking day with Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. Simply Apple is my drink. Suzy and Molly saw me walking down the hall, and ran to the kitchen for fresh eats. Glad they aren't cannibals or I wouldn't be typing this.
