Pepper Spam, less than 3$ a tin, excellent stuff. It's in the cellar, too
We're still no closer to the reason for all the eggistential humor origins.

Apparently Jim has been in Philadelphia recently: www.philly.com/philly/news/tractor-trailer-crash-eggs-schuylkill-expressway-20180313.html
Here's the text from the article. There is a video if you follow the link.
News Tractor-trailer carrying egg yolks crashes, drivers scramble Updated: MARCH 13, 2018 — 5:23 PM EDT by Stephanie Farr, Staff Writer @farfarraway | farrs@phillynews.com
A tractor-trailer carrying liquid egg yolks overturned on a ramp to Interstate 76 in King of Prussia, turning the highway into the Schuylkill Eggspressway and causing a scrambled mess.
It’s unclear if the driver of truck — who, on the sunny side of things, was reportedly uninjured — had egg on his face following the accident. The eggs-act cause of the crash remains under investigation.
According to 6ABC, the crash happened around 2 p.m. Tuesday as the vehicle was going from Route 202 onto the westbound Schuylkill at Mall Boulevard. Footage from the station shows the roadway covered in yellow goo. Luckily, no one appeared to be trying to poach the spilled product.
Drivers already fried from the afternoon commute had to be re-routed as crews cleaned up the yolky mess.
As of 4:30 p.m., only the ramp to Mall Boulevard remained closed, according to KYW.
Hopefully, it all gets over easy.

Edward G. Robinson in Soylent Green, "“I was there, I can prove it! When I was a kid, you could buy meat anywhere! Eggs they had, real butter! Not this . . . . crap!”

A buddy of mine has a working ranch..pigs, cattle and his birds put out some pretty nice eggs, no coloring needed. The top two are Turkey Eggs....I pass on the Goose eggs, they are egg overload when you fry them up...they look like Arnold Schwarzeneggers by comparison.

Here in Arizona, all of the news outlets are doing their perennial stories about not putting eggs on Easter where a rattler might strike the kids...(snakes love eggs)
Here on the forum, it is a daily hazard with jiminks coiled, and the new kids joining the forum...he likes eggs too.

You have those Diamondbacks which are not fun to be around.
We do not see them much up here. Mostly Prairie Rattlesnakes which are smaller (30 inches is a big one) and docile, except when stepped on. They draw a line at that.

I have a friend in Bayard NM who keeps me supplied with rattle snake rattles. I put them in mandolins and fiddles to keep the devil out.

Eggs are an important part of life, especially to the chicken.
