I really like poker..I wish Dino would move closer to Arizona, I could arrange a poker table in Tombstone.
I would be more like Doc Holliday, him Ike Clanton when the chips cleared.

This is the only one I own, Peterson Mark Twain. I don't dislike them, but I don't seek them out either. Probably wouldn't have this one either if it were not part of a set. I am surprised you are finding them more expensive than other shapes. I know they got popular a while back (much like the Devil Anse) and it seems like every Johnny come lately caver out there is cranking them out. This Savinelli Roma 311 seems quite reasonably priced at $85. And you can't really go wrong with a Savinelli. www.thepipenook.com/store/p8/Roma_311_KS.htmlYou are right that is not bad at all. I don't currently own any savenelli, maybe I should make this my first pick up.

Sorry, I read in another post that you shy away from non-briar... Ignore that previous post. No need to apologize, I'm just not wanting to break the bank you know like $200 plus.

I have several, this is my favorite Ed James made this from Mullberry wood. We both had memories of this fine Berry tree that excels at being made into a smoking pipe. Pokers are my pipes that bring to me AMERICAN, I guess because of Mark Twain, yes they are ugly but it's ugly Americans that rode the wagon trains, survived rain, cold sleet, Indians to make this a Great Country, yes it has its faults but what doesn't have faults. I personally don't think they are ugly. What in the he'll is Mulberry wood?
