Anyone watch this . I am addicted to it, one of the best shows on TV. Based in history on the story of Ragnar Lothbrok and his family.

Is this the amazon original or a different production?

I don't rightly know. The DVD has 20thCenturyFox on it. No mention of Amazon.

It was pretty good. If you like that you should check out The Last Kingdom on Netflix. As far as historical accuracy in that period, Last Kingdom really raises the bar.

We are addicted to Vikings. We like the Last Kingdom, but it does have some issues, low production values and a very low rate of production. BBC sucks when they have a hit, taking years to get seasons out. Look at Sherlock. I think last season had 3 or 4 episodes, and I don't remember when it was released. They are say that season 5 probably won't happen. Sadly, it seems like the same people are in charge of Last Kingdom. I guess that's what you get when the government runs the entertainment business.

I like Vikings. I am 2 seasons behind I think, but I plan on catching up Havent caught Last Kingdom yet. Now BBC Sherlock is fantastic and yes they only do 3-4 episodes every 2 years but they are 90 mins long. So basically a movie. Average of 2 movies a year is not bad really.

Vikings is one of the few shows that has maintained its quality over the seasons. It may even be getting better. Amazing they can do what they do with a history channel budget.

Is this the amazon original or a different production? My apologies - Amazon stream this, but it's not an Amazon original. I must try it out.

If this is the show you're talking about yes, it's excellent! My wife and I have watched every episode to date!

Good stuff ... The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell were the basis and a great series of books.

...wild and crazy folks, those Vikings... Hey, those are my people you are talking about. ๐ Sometimes as I ponder the next few years, I find myself wishing for a nice battle, and ending it cleanly with honor and a sword in my hand.

I remember that ad. I don't think it ever influenced anyone to smoke one of those menthol cigars. I am pretty sure that tobacco didn't grow in Nova Scotia.
