Well what do I say my username sums up who I am and what I do. I smoked a pipe some 12 years ago when I was married but gave it up due to children and other things. I have two pipes both briar, some pipe cleaners, chalk filters and a pipe tool all in a small hardwood box in my garage. The cost of tobacco is now ridiculously prohibitive here but I would like to take up my pipes again. If only for the relaxation, comfort and contemplation that is impossible to get from a rollup.
Other interests are Blues Music, Books, Vintage fountain pens and writing not to mention deep sea fishing, cooking, wine and beer, harmonica, ukelele.
I suppose my hobbies explain why if I wanted another wife I'd have to build her myself. *joke there*

Welcome from Northern Ireland. My wife is from Dorking. Surrey is a lovely part of the world.
Tobacco prices are shocking in the UK. I don't smoke too often so ah at least a tin lasts a long time.
I normally use Mysmokingshop.com... They have a great turnaround time with next day delivery as standard, although I've just had my eyes opened to GQ Tobaccos which is a family run place. I like supporting something like that.
I hope you enjoy your stay here. There are lots of good people here and a real sense of community. There are also many enablers.

Greetings from Denmark & wecome to this great forum. Tobacco prices are just as prohibitive here in Denmark and that explains why I am always skint around the 25th of each month. I do have some nice pipes and tobaccoes, though.

Both my smoking shop and GQ offer excellent service. Orders are very quickly delivered. They both have a huge range of tobaccos, cigars and all the associated paraphernalia. I don't know how they manage to stock such a wide range. To have so much available makes me think there are far more "closet" smokers... especially of pipes, than we think!

They have a great stock... I suppose if there aren't many stockists they have a bigger customer base. Smoke king is also good. I found their samplers a great way to explore my tastes without wasting (more) money.
