Only had a couple beers in yon fridge, so I opened a bottle of wine. I'll be damned if this lightly sweet SWR burley isn't a perfect match for this dry French red. I'm afraid to switch blends, it's so spot-on.

Escudo drying for a turn in my Peterson. As I pour my third glass of wine, I must thereby abstain from social media. Haha
Good night, all.
Pleasant smokes and happy trails.

Popped a jar (not tin) of John Aylesbury Sir John's Flake that was sealed for the last year and a half to smoke in the Butz-Chocom Arabesque 1772 pipe with a pint of Pyramid Lemon Drop Citrus Pale Ale along side.
Very nice!

Me too. DVD set arriving tomorrow. Held off awhile as had mixed opinion of Season 2, but reviews of Season 3 are strong. Enjoy. Season 3 was great. I second that opinion. Great show!

Triple Play is a very nice VaPer. It burns slow and provides Abu nice long smoke in this Savinelli. Jim Ink's review on TR is spot on as usual. What I am smoking has been in the open tin since 2014 and is a the perfect smoking condition. The grassy Virginia and the peppery perique is present through the entire smoke. Don't rush and you will be in for a treat.

Yes, well, I've noticed it's pretty easy to absorb a wee bit too much wine when it complements smoke well . A time or 2 I've looked at a bottle later in the evening and observed that there's no point in replacing the cork on an empty bottle. I'm now smoking MacB HH pure Virginia flake for a change up in my bent egg. Too early for wine, but the coffee is great alongside
