GLP Stonehenge in a sandblasted Savinelli bent billiard with a vulcanite stem. This is the second pipe I ever purchased, but it was my first ‘real’ pipe. I purchased a pipe with a nomenclature of ‘bachelor’ just after New Years in 1997. I bought the Savinelli about two weeks later on MLK Day. I was drinking black coffee, but the wind had other ideas.

those zippos really do a number on the rims of those cobs don't they? That’s just how a cob looks after thousands of bowls.

Whats hapaned to Motto? Has he just not been around? He retired....in good spirit. I am just too damn busy. But not too busy to post MacB ODF RR in a Pietenpauw chunk of wild olive for breakfast. SWR in the cobs at work. Thanks Ant, I was worried something else had happened to him. I enjoyed his post also.

Escudo drying for a turn in my Peterson. As I pour my third glass of wine, I must thereby abstain from social media. Haha Good night, all. Pleasant smokes and happy trails. Yes, well, I've noticed it's pretty easy to absorb a wee bit too much wine when it complements smoke well . A time or 2 I've looked at a bottle later in the evening and observed that there's no point in replacing the cork on an empty bottle. I'm now smoking MacB HH pure Virginia flake for a change up in my bent egg. Too early for wine, but the coffee is great alongside I am all to familiar with this phenomena. haha For those who like a good wine at a reasonable price, I was having Chateau de Paillet-Quancard 2014 Cadillac Cotes de Bordeaux (Say That Three Times Fast!) and at just under 15$ a bottle, it was a very pleasant surprise. Just had a little pasta with garlic and oil. Snacking on some smoked almonds and wondering what to smoke. Maybe some SWR as the Escudo chaser has its two hours of dry time... Some juicy coins in that can.

SG Kendal Cream Deluxe Flake w/ hot sake, outside under the big Oak tree...
This one I fold, rub out lightly, insert the fuzz vertically, twist/pack with moderate gentle care, char light, let rest a bit, light again, and then again, and away she goes...
Cheers!

Just fired up C&D Engine 99 in my Iron Horse Stack #1, with a nice 2012 Rioja alongside. Lovely combo. I'll have to look for PhantomWolf's Bordeaux to try.
