A late-afternoon smoke; Old Dark Fired in a BBJ Bullpuppy (11.8 cm). This tobacco is simply the best, I've tasted for a long time. Mild and friendly and about halfway through the bowl, it starts to kick around, getting considerably stronger. Luckily, my tin is the 100 grs US version. Here in Denmark, we only have the 50 grs tins.

Finished in the shop for this morning. Having a bowl of .... hell, I don't know, it was one of the Lane samples I got at the Raleigh Show and I emptied it into my pouch. It's a Virginia blend. in a Sav Roma 207 I bought from JoeMan at the same show. Finished off the pot of Maxwell House.

It seriously helps everything, either giving a bit more oomph or another taste. It's great all around.

Returned home from picking-up my daughter following her "nail" appointment, and drove her over to her work close by. Stopped by Micky D' for a sausage mc muffin with egg and a medium coffee black. Decided to break open another tin from 2006, C&D Star of the East Flake... Moist little flakes they are. Gave a couple a fold and placed them into the Neerup Classic Sandblasted Poker to dry a bit... Time to fire it up

I haven't been posting for a bit and for a simple reason.About a month back someone was kind enough to Trim my cellar for me.They were nice enough leave me the bulk "Bastard Blend" in a gallon tub, although I think they didn't notice it.(Thankful for small blessings)And they didn't find my two pipe pouches, those were with me.And today I found that my tin of Hamborger Veermast was hidden in a drawer in the front room. So,,,Today is a Victory Smoke of HV in my Casillero.

Being a semi-retired fraud investigator, hearing this really irritates the *ell out of me. Have you filed a PR with your local LEA (law enforcement agency)? And, the next step would be to file a claim with your Home Owners Insurance company. I guess now a day, you not only need a gun locker, but also a cellar locker too... Sorry to hearing about this Matthew, I really am...
