Hmmmmmmmmmm... do I see one of these sitting in your pipe rack soon Lady M? some info on the Savinelli Ghibli...With a natural finish and a crisp, low-profile rustication, the Ghibli series is meant to evoke the image of images drawn by wind on desert sands, accented by a sunny yellow stem and a marble-patterned stem band...
very cool! that makes it even more neat.

Ps luxury twist flake in the RobE Olivewood Rhodesian V1 with a yellow tiger acrylic shank accent and a limited edition sem cumberland stem. This pipe is coloring beautifully the darker of the growth rings are striping more and more, while the lighter what was cream colored wood is now a beautiful much loved rich orange/brown color. Its my far and away favorite pipe. I have to force myself to leave it alone more than a day at a time. I'm almost to the point where I have to cut the cake back on it and I've only had it since columbus. I'll take a picture of it the next time I have a quiet sunny moment.

Nording Fox Hound in a cob, courtesy of @lady Margaret. It's somewhat similar to FM On the Town, but less of a "crossover" and a bit lighter in body and less Orientals I think. Just a well-balanced and very pleasant light English with a bit of sweetness.

For dinner, I had baby back ribs, mac n' cheese, and dessert was chocolate mousse tuxedo cake. Now, I'm smoking Wilke No.192 in a smooth medium bend straight grain 2001 Karl Erik Ekstravagant brandy with a leaf engraved silver band and a black acrylic stem. Watching the Braves-Phillies game with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Molly is snoozin' in m'lady's lap.

I'm smoking GH Bosun Cut Plug U/S in a MM Bent General cob with a little coffee and water on the side. This is the General's first battle, but it's going outstandingly well.

My first bowl of GLP Kensington in the 2018 PSF POY Cobbler. For a first taste, I thought it was outstanding. A little stronger than Blackpoint it shares a lot of the same qualities. Still doesn't rise to Lagonda in my book, but we'll see over the course of a few more bowls. Definitely worthwhile.

Finished a bowl of 02/2015 Kramer's Father Dempsey in the F.Baki meer Now, gotta put away some 02/2011 GH Dark Birds Eye secured from a fellow piper... Had some Middleton's Hickory in the MM Smoking Phalus at the rifle range today. Not terrible, but not something I would purchase. All burned up now. What caliber were you shooting at the range today don?

Just finished a perfectly indolent and hedonistic evening lying in the Jacuzzi with a Peretti oom Paul full of Engine 99 and a glass of Cognac. Didn't drop either one in the water.

I smoked some Lat frankenstein I am working on tonight. Needs a bit more tinkering. I also smoked a bowl of EGR afterwords just to refresh the palate.

Just fired up some Captain Black Cherry that has been hiding in my car. Little crunchy but still smokable.

Still smoking this same wonderful bowl. Take a stack billiard cob and add an excellent, slow smoking GH tobacco and you nearly achieve Nirvana.

Someone broke in and stole your tobacco? Jesus! That's harsh. I'm pretty sure it was some kids, they took my cigars and a carton of cigarettes along with about a rack of pipes and all my tins.A laptop and an old tablet that doesn't work.Jerks let my cats out and it took a week to catch them. But I still have some baccy so I'll just keep puffin. Bastards!

Good morning, you all. First smoke of this sunny Thursday; Red Orlik in a small Stanwell no. 147, designed by Jess Chonowitsch. Yes, I know about the rim; spit on a cotton rag, should take care of it. I do find it slightly worrying, that you can remove gunk with a liquid, your teeth are sloshing around in.
