"Pete's Legacy" in a MM Diplomat.
Found the tobacco at 5th Avenue Cigars in Anchorage, Alaska. I'm not big on aromatics, but this is a nice change of pace from Latakia, orientals, and dark-fired Kentucky.

Now smoking 2012 Virginia Spice in a 2004 smooth long shank Canadian Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 with a black vulcanite stem. I might finish the day with this smoke.

Good morning, you all. First smoke of this so far all-blue-skies Friday morning; a Sixten Ivarsson designed Stanwell no. 9-78 filled with My Own Blend's Christmas tobacco. This is my second Stanwell that makes me wonder if Sixten Ivarsson was left-handed. The two smooth panels fit perfectly with the thumb and index finger on the left hand, not so well with the right. The first one was The Potato Sack (Stanwell no. 96); the bowl is asymmetrical and feels more comfortable in the left hand. Not that it matters in the Grand Scheme of Pipe-Making; I just got curious.

Salty Dogs in a Trever Talbot Goblin. What a great-looking pipe. Shouldn't it be 'Droplin', though..? It reminds me of those photos of a drop hitting the surface of some liquid.

Good morning! I slept so hard, didn't realize how early it was when I got up at 3:30 am! Smoking some 50% English, 50% mild aromatic that a friend gave me in a no-name chubby billiard.

SWR in a Savinelli 112 Petite as I did my morning routine along with more OJK. Have the Cavicchi loaded with GLP Kensington for the way to work. Did I mention we're going to a ballgame tonight (Probably will freeze our nethers off. Hope it's worth it.)

Good morning and happy Friday. My first pipe of the day is 2015 Germain King Charles Smoking Mixture in a rusticated Peterson donegal rocky bent bulldog with a diagonal band and vulcanite p-lip stem. I’m drinking a hot cappuccino to ward off the chill and listening to ‘Hotel California’ (album), by the Eagles.

It's also Grateful Dead Night (on 4/20 - imagine that ) so we'll go early and take in the cover band. Promises to be a great night. Wish they allowed pipe smoking in the stands.
