Smoking Dark Birds Eye in the Dunhill Shell. Sipping Knobb Creek. Sounds like some choices I'd make. That's what I'm doing with the exception of Buffalo Trace instead of the Knob Creek.

I’ve already really been eyeballing his pipes for months. I really want some huge briars to add to my collection. It's not huge, but it is a decent size. Tall, but small bore. The shape and construction are perfect. I am very gratified you like it so much. Thanks for the comment. I just believe in good briar, no crap , drill it smoothly and accurate. And, I think tall and fairly narrow make a great smoke. They are a little wider dia. than the original Pibe Dan's. I love those pipes, but the originals I think are bit too narrow.

SG Kendal Cream Deluxe Flake w/Suntori whiskey, neat... let the weekend begin! Plumb forgot today is Friday. Thanks for the reminder. I always wanted to try Suntori Scotch Substitute. Seeing how well they made cameras, stereos, TVs, and cars and knowing what complete fussbudgets the Japanese can be, it out to be a good whisky. I mean that with respect having worked with them. The ones I knew aimed high and usually succeeded. Now smoking GH Glengarry Flake in an Orlick Supreme bent Billiard. My first time with this flake and I like it.

So my science experiment for the day is complete, although still have a couple more bowls of Plantation Evening before bed, have to say, Chelsea Morning probably worked the best, the others I feel could be smoked anytime during the day!
But it was an excuse to smoke different baccy at different times!

Relaxing in the garage with my better half after a long track meet. Dinner was stretched out for neaely 2 hours due to shoddy service. At least the food and drinks were good. I had a tasty thick cut pork chop and a couple of local brews the first was my first mead and it was fantastic the second was a ginger cider and I never realized how well ginger compliments apples. It was mighty fine, and the server ended up getting tipped well since it was a good time spent with only the oldest son and thats way too rare anymore.
Geez I'm smoking chestnut in the mastro de paja classica rusticated billiard. Drinking a soda of some sort.

Part way through this bowl of 2012 Virginia Spice in a 2004 smooth long shank Canadian Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 with a black vulcanite stem. Taking a very short work break.
