I’ve been dipping my toes back in the hobby after a lengthy hiatus.
And NO, it was not court mandated!
Currently residing in San Antonio.
My primary enjoyments over the years have been VaPers and VAs. This recent turn has sent more me in the direction of Virginia blends with Turkish & Greek Orientals (w/o Latakia).
I see some long familiar handles here and hope to learn more and listen better.

Welcome to the forum, San Antonio is a great place... lived in Schertz and Cibolo back in the early ‘70’s. trailboss- I was in Austin all through the 70s. I love Tanya, but it was more like Doug Sahm, Jerry Jeff, Willie, the Vaughn brothers, and Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen Live at the Armadillo World Headquarters!! |

I hear ya.. just that when you mentioned San Antone, that song came to mind... George Strait might have been more appropriate.
I am a Jerry Jeff fan also, my brother in laws band opened for him in Kansas and met him, hell of a hellraiser!
But ya gotta admit, in her prime (and the YouTube pic) Tanya had better looking hams than Jerry Jeff!
(Not that I ever noticed Jerry’s hams anyhow)😉

I once had the chance to smoke with Jerry Jeff. Sunrise on Lake Travis would have been a whole lot better smoking with Tanya. 😎
