Here is an analogy that may not go over well, but I think of briars as the girl you want to be seen with, perhaps marry some day, and cobs the girl you want to have fun with and go with somewhere nobody knows you. One is Miss Right, and the other is, perhaps, Miss Right-Now.

Missouri Meerschaum's been around so long for a reason. They consistently give you great cool & dry smokes. The more you smoke them, the better they get.

I recently gained an appreciation and respect for cobs. I still love my briars, but I’ve got about four that I smoke regularly. Lady M sent me one of her cobs. It’s a Mark Twain and it’s great!
