I am surprised I haven't discovered this great looking forum before? Better late than never for sure!
Name's Claude, and I'm hailing from Québec.
I have been a pipe smoker for 30 years now. Bought and owned a lot of pipes over the years and, after discovering the Falcon pipes a couple of years back, I progressively got hooked. To the point where, immensely disappointed by the last 4-5 pipe purchases I made (and had to return all of them), but never having had a single problem with my Falcon, I recently cleared all my non-Falcon and with the money made, bought more Falcon. Coincidently, Falcon also fit my new retirement lifestyle much better.
I also own a few Peterson, all Bent and Army mounts.
Tobacco wise, I love Burleys (Peterson University Flake, Irish Flake, Wessex Burley Slice, Lane Ready Rubbed, SWR), Virginia/Perique (Mac Baren HH Acadian Perique, Escudo, Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture) some Latakia (Mac Baren HH Latakia Flake, Dunhill MM 965, Baby's Bottom and Nightcap) and a few aros (mostly, G & H such as Ennerdale). I also love Amphora Black Cavendish and Original. I mix them 50/50 and they make a great all day smoke for me.
