Good morning from the twin rivers on the Irish Sea , it is a dull start to the day , getting into bad habits starting the morning with a Chinese metal lined plastic stumpy, of Golden Virginia plain original smoking tobacco , sweet and refreshing.
But as my father's and mothers taught me , expect the worst & hope for the best , so a better get dug in , hey diggers. A ordered collective exercise.
But more yard work to do, I will have to be more careful with my health. But do not let me mislead I am not being serpent tongued I hope. I am just clearing through a load of winters junk in my little rented cottage plot of my father's and grandparents , such is life , Israelis landlord problems to worry me, and no law but the law of Manu , but you guys in the states have firearms , a blessing & a curse, but my big bull mastiff is useless as a guard dog , he is an adopted dog without any guard dog training what so ever , those doggy people know that an untrained dog is more trouble than use, but he is my best companion and I love the bones of the poor cruelly neutered mutt, that is the RSPCA for you these days.
We have a history with Bull mastiffs a finer dog than a Rottweiler more experienced and better fed and more obedient and loyal , he would obey on chain and off chain if I trained him gently. Our German cousins have some bad historic dog handling practices with their dogs, google it . But I will love you and leave you there is always another day and someone else to take up the baton or javelin.
. Patience is a virtue in a caged animal I keep telling myself. But my only sister has just got a divine pup for my only dear great niece from Mediterranean stock a sailing ship lap terrier and another pedigree breed, a little golden treasure they call Rosie she is not eight weeks yet.
But my previous dog another adopted RSPCA dog a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, I called Luc , he was a handsome fine beast, but I managed to save him from the cruel cut, yet untrained as well but he was easy for me, a golden well built dog with a white flash on his chest like my brindle Bull Mastiff Pop , poor Pop is a burden with his woes. But such is life. The dog laws over here are unbalanced .. But that is another story.
PS , I swear by metal and composite material pipes these days my hearties, after all a wooden peg leg for old Jim Silvers is not new technology but I am working on my composite pipes , pipe lore and sailors lore go hand in hand in this port like a reef knot & a granny knot.
PPS. Looking forward to the next Spaceship X dragon enterprise star men from my little earth cell over the pond., Maybe I will catch you on the radio amateur bands one day when I get my stealth aerial (antenna) up. But more heavenly work to do...
