Sorry about that. If it's any comfort, I have often heard that the Coloradans would like to slaughter all of us Texans, too. I love and support Southerners,it's impossible to know details for each State and i can not make discriminations among them. Some guys may have an "attitude" and often we disagree with their style but they are from South so we look them "in a good way". Skandinavik Vanilla.

First smoke today is Amphora Brown in a Yorkshire Imported briar, a Sears and Roebuck catalog pipe circa mid to late 50's. It's a half bent billiard with carvehd sides of the bowl. The drilling is spot on and it smokes everything I pack in it perfectly. Community coffee, neat is my drink.

My next smoke is a Miss Daisy pleaser, Duke's Mixture by Alfred and Christian Petersen (thanks to JimInks ) in a Jarl Made in Denmark 824 "Oil Harden" bent brandy sitter. Even though I smoke aros for her pleasure, this taste good to me as well. Think I will dedicate this small briar to aromatics. I usually only smoke them is Meers orbCobs.

Now smoking 2014 Luxury Twist Flake in the Pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 80s birth year pipe (1945-47). The band appears to be nickel and the stamping a Shamrock, Fox and Ball Tower. I refer to it as Pop's Pipe as it was purchased from Kristina Summers who was selling her father's estate pipes after his passing. She sold quite a number of her father's pipes referring to them as "Dad's" or "Father's" pipes, but this is the only one she described as "Pop's" Pipe.

Back in 1928 a cruise ship made a stop in Crete of Greece and when it departed for the rest of the tour a father by surprise found that by a misunderstanding his boy has been left behind! Suddenly the local people found a 12 year old black boy crying alone in the dock, due to their hospitality spirit they took care of him giving shelter food and a small job to earn his pocket money. After 6 months the boy travelled back to USA to find his family but those 6 months learned some Greek language phrases and when he became a musician he took a Greek song of 1920 era that heard those days back in Crete and put his music style on it.
Ladies and Gentlemen here is Slim Gaillard and the song "Tee Say Mallee" ["τι σε μελλει"] which means in Greek "why do you care?"
I am smoking W.O. Larsen Indigo Easy Flake in an Olive pipe with 6mm balsa filter, cool water beside me.
