Smoking some Solani Aged Burley Flake in a Savinelli rusticated author, with some coffee and water on the side, while I watch " Death at a Funeral". Funny movie. This Aged Burly Flake is really wonderful tobacco. I was going to ask. If I'm not mistaken, I've seen you smoking this blend before. I've yet to try some.

Road crew is working late. Cleaning the road and painting lines. As they stopped behind my car and the roommate and I were trying to guess what was going on:
Roommate: What are they up to? Me: Repossessing my car? Roommate: haha Why would they be doing that? Me:Mercy..?
Smoking some SWR in my Country Gent with foreverstem.

The SWR was nice even with the cold. Packing up some Exotic Orange now. I figure it has enough flavour to punch trough any runny nose and maybe I'll get a little vitamin C in the process.
Watching The Twilight Zone. Probably gonna hit the hay after this.
Catch ya later, pipers.

Smoked a bowl of Burley Red Tips (strong stuff) in the Hendon billiard last night. Spent many hours last night shredding up some whole leaf to jar. Got this batch of leaf from Larry Butcher in Kentucky "The Tobacco Butcher". I wore out my shredder and will have to buy a new one. Drinking Maxwell House coffee.

Low Country Cooper in a Willmer. Is Cooper as good as the reviews make it out to be? Now smoking Standard Mixture Mellow from the incredible bottom-less tin. I switched over to aromatics this week to get away from it but it's still here. I'm certain on not buying this blend again. Not sure my palate is reliable, zambini. I know I like light/medium English blends, and this has the traditional components--Virginias, Latakia, Orientals. As it is a flake (fairly broken flake actually), it tends to smoke slower and cooler--at least for me. The room note will probably not please the ladies. Anyway--I like it. That said, I find I do not care for many of the highly praised tobaccos. I found Escudo downright offensive, and can say the same for Solani Aged Burley Flake that is being discussed in this thread right now. Not to mention my huge disappointment with a tin of Margate I recently tried.... So I suppose I am saying that I take tobacco reviews with a huge grain of salt.

My first pipe of the day is RO Series Perique Blend GP-11 in my sandblasted Brebbia Ninja squashed tomato with a tortoise shell acrylic stem. IMO, this is one of the best VaPers. Unfortunately, it’s a limited run. I was fortunate to buy last year when P&C was Running a buy 2 get 1 free. I have a pound and a half aging in jars.
