My tobacco day started out on the course today. A few Curly Heads, 858's & a couple of bowls of MM965 in my golfin pipe... When we got to the 18th green the bottom fell out. So we made a mad dash for the clubhouse and found our way to the veranda to enjoy a couple of pitchers of Duck Hook, a local brewery specialty, and another cigar... After getting home and having some taquitos (I'm bachin it this weekend) and feeding Hank, I made my way up to the cave and am now enjoyin some older Syrian Full Balkan in my Stanwell Poker. Sippin Blantons this evening... All in all a pretty good day in Pinehurst. That looked like an awesome day. I'd look back on that day with fond memories.

First of the day was Peter Stokkebye - Optimum. Still not sure if I like it or not.
2nd was Dunhill - MM 965
Watching the birds gather as much of my bird food as they can. They know the storm is coming. Might as well welcome it in with a pipeful of Tsuge- Raijin (the thunder god). I hate the cut of this tobacco so I uave to butcher it up a bit. It has a weird tanginess that I like... occasionally.

I threw a huge outdoor party yesterday in the park. Between forty and fifty people judging by how quickly the plastic forks disappeared.
Afterwards, late into the night, on my porch, with an old friend who had attended my party, we drank up the last of my Bulleit bourbon, and I enjoyed two bowls of, you guessed it, Billy Budd Blonde, in Sav Hercules 320EX while he snarfed on a couple of Partagas 1845s.
So today I raise a bowl, (cob full of Blonde), to old friends, warm clear nights, porches, good bourbon, pipes and cigars.
