Bought 3 gave away 3. Happy with other brands, though happy I had a pound of #605 Pastry that I forgot about. A year of jarring on it so far

I didn’t buy much after the announcement as I had already built my cellar deep with the McC blends that I like.

Zero, though I have some stowed. I had a hard time believing it at first and to be honest , it won't fully sink in until I run out of my stock.

I didn't buy any, although in retrospect I should have got more Grey Havens. I did not expect it to sell out so fast. I t never seemed like a popular blend.

It really wasn't that big of a seller, but once the blood is in the water.. Ever see people in a grocery store before a hurricane? Even the canned carrots are gone. haha I wish I had a couple more tins myself. I wasn't a fan, but I have a tin that has been opened and jarred since last summer and when I smoked it recently, I was surprised to find what that stuff turns into with a little air under it's wings. alas...

Ironnically, I was calling about the new HH Burley Flake when I learned that GH was available.

I bought some FM on that last run from SP. I think that was it but would have to check to be sure.

I bought a few things, and a considerable amount of the 40th, just before the panic, so I was set. I did recently buy a few tins of nicely aged stuff from a friend at much less than scalper prices. Other than that, nothing. I was already happy with what is in the cellar, but I wanted to satisfy my curiosity while things were still available at regular retail. The funny thing is, I've just found a small pile of McClelland blends, including the late and lamented Frog Morton Across The Pond, that I didn't remember having bought years ago. Most of what I added before the deluge were bulks.

My tobacco fund was in a cash strapped situation when the news broke, and I didn't want to put it on a cc...I did pick up 6 tins of FM at the last release. Glad I was ok on Christmas cheer, totally missed the boat on the 40th blend...that kinda sucks....oh well, it is what it is.

Funny. I have one can of the 40th that I know I will never find the courage to split that gorgeous wax seal off of, so I'll never really know if it's good.
Christmas Cheer on the other hand is getting popped next Christmas. haha

You're a visionary Sam. The Dark Ages draw nigh. We will be cave dwellers with cellars. Sink me! A rhyme

None! I happened to stock up on everything I liked JUST before I found out they were closing! Talk about luck...

I bought 10 dominican glory maduro, 5 fmc, and 5 fmotb. The three blends I knew I didnt want to live without. It's also all the further I managed to get in exploring mcclellands blends.

I'm still doing some trading here and there. I can't have enough of the Grand Oriental series. The biggest purchase for me was driving to McCranies and picking up a pound and half of Red Flake.

I am sort of in the "smoking" phase of my collecting/cellaring, so while I certainly felt the strong pull to buy I resisted for the most part. I really do not need any more tobacco (you notice I did not say want).
Blackwoods and St. James woods are the two blends of theirs I like and cellared over the years. I saw 5 tins of Blackwoods at JR Cigars after the news broke and bought them - you know, just to support my local B&M ;-)

I should have posted "How much have you bought in the past year" since everyone knew the writing was on the wall well before the announcement. There was hardly any left by the time the news finally broke.

I haven't bought any McClelland blends since the announcement, but have some in the cellar aging.

Just 2...a friend nabbed me 2 tins of Holiday Spirit 2017 about a month ago. I think it was maybe 25 bucks for both, so not bad.
