Relaxing after a terrific pot roast pie dinner with a banana split for dessert, and I'm smoking HU Old Fredder’s Broken Flake in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Watching Nature on PBS. Life is good, eh Jim? It sure is. I'm a fortunate man.

Murray’s Yachtsman Plug in a late 1960’s Dr. Grabow Grand Duke lovat is really hitting that VaBur spot. What a rock solid plug, wish we had it in the states.

Good morning, you all. First bowl of this sunny and already hot day; My Own Blend's Christmas tobacco in The Flying Saucer; the Torben Dansk 'Brage'.
Even My Own Master Blender approves of this tobacco.
Why don't my photos show up..? I've done nothing different than usual.

Now smoking some C&D Old Joe Krantz in a Kaywoodie Hand Made panneled billiard with some ice water on the side. Still smoking Old Joe Krantz while I catch up on Z Nation. Any other fans out there? I like this much more than the popular "Walking Dead", which is too melodramatic for me.

Good morning. I’m starting my day with HH Burley Flake in a Lady Margaret Mark Twain cob. I have a nasty cold, and wouldn’t normally smoke. My senses barley detect its flavor (in a burley way). I'm doing this strictly for medicinal purposes.

morning folks! been busy quite a bit with work and the family since the weather has warmed up. oldest boy and I are taking Taekwando lessons and the youngest wants to go fishing a lot now. bike rides, gardening, yard work, exploring the woods... taking the youngest fishing after lunch. first smoke of the day was LBF topped with a little LNF in the M.T. Natural. French pressed Cafe Verona on the side. It's good to see you back. Hope all is well.

... in a Savinelli Hercules (320 EX) rustic Author....
I have one of those and I smoke it all the time. I love it. I have learned it. Its gotten intuitive how I load it and how I tamp it and how I sip it. We do well together. There is a section of my molars that fit the bit perfectly. Its a bit heavy for long term clenching. But it is wonderful for holding. A firm, large, confident, chunk of wood. Mostly what i do is just hold it and sip, turn pages with the free hand.
