Just finished smoking two bowls of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1980s black sandblasted slight bend Savory’s Argyll 281 Cherrywood with a black vulcanite stem. Finally home after running a couple of errands. Now, it's time for a late lunch.

I just tried Revelation Match, and I like it. I also baught an empty vintage tin of Revelation Mixture to put it in. Why? Cuz Einstein smoked it? Yep. Has to be part of my Tobacco rotation now, since I worked at Stanford in the physics department back in 1984. it has that kinda smokey smell and flavor that I enjoy in such tins as: Earley Morning Pipe, Presbyterian, even Frog Mortans Cellar, has that unique smell and taste. I want to break in my new Stanwell with the same tobacco, or something close to it, there after. There is always that problem of ones flavorit blend be out a stock. So I want something else close to it. Hopefully that will keep down the ghoasting effect of any off tasting blends that don't mix very well.  |
