Been off the grid for a few days as sometimes life gets in the way. Been smoking, not posting. Anyway, the morning commute had Amphora Brown smoldering in a Country gentleman, and Community coffee, neat steaming in the Contigo.

Good morning. I dropped my son off at school and just finished loading up my Peterson Aran billiard with Amphora Original. I’m in the park and will leave in a minute so I can smoke. That’s right folks, it’s against the law to smoke in the park.
In NYC, it can be hazardous to someone’s health if they’re in a park and someone else is smoking. Fortunately, our wise legislators enacted a park-wide smoking ban. The non-smoker need not worry once he exits the park, because it’s safe, even if he’s standing next to a smoker.

About to light up my first bowl of the day, Billy Budd Blonde.
I haven't figured out why but the first bowl of the day seems the most delicious. I am thinking it is chemical/psychological, I am desperate for a hit of nic or just to get back at it, and the satisfaction is proportional to the want.
Alternatively, perhaps the tongue is more clean and receptive, having had only toothpaste, coffee, and Cheerios to deal with.
Or maybe it is the feeling of confidence, that if you can take care of yourself in this, you can take care of yourself.

Not far from finishing this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Nesbitt's Orange soda made with real sugar is my drink. Lunch is next.

Almost a quarter of the way through this bowl of Amphora Virginia in a 2015 Basil Meadows black sandblasted billiard with an aluminum band and a pearl red acrylic stem. Just got this Basil pipe today from a friend who couldn't get off of cigarettes, so he gave me the pipe.

Mystery something or other that i found in my leather cinch sack. I thought "oh god, this is gonna be terrible", but its actually not too bad. I thought sitting for a couple years it would produce star-seeing coughing fits or just taste horrible, but neither is true tho it is a little dry. No idea what blend/brand it is however.
