Sounds like an interesting series. Can you understand the dialogue?
Haha, and no. My wife and I are constantly asking each other if we can understand the dialogue. We can definitely hear that it’s anglophone, but beyond that it might as well be Farsi. The whole series is on demand up here right now so we’ve decided to go back to the beginning.

We tried watching 911 again and during the whole show a lady drove around with a body stuck through her windshield with the guy still alive. Sounds interesting right and there were a few scenes showing he was still alive and at the end of the show. Well they pull her over and the show ends. Worst TV writers ever so not on my watch list for a good while longer.

Season #2 of Yellowstone just finished up. B+ (and I am a brutal critic). Looking forward to Season #3. Also season #4 of Peaky Blinders and Season #2 Taboo should be coming out soon? I just started Peaky Blinders. So far, so good.

I just started Peaky Blinders. So far, so good. Season 4 is a bit of a train wreck for the first 3-4 shows. Disappointing since seasons 1-3 were so stellar. 4 gets better in the second half. Ms Maziel season 3 is out in a month. Now THAT is a fantastic show.

Watched Episode 1 one of The Mandalorian last night. Fantastic. Excellent dose of GOOD Star Wars on the small screen. They did a bang up job.

Been watching the BBC series SHETLAND on Public TV. Here's what Wikepedia says about it and it's all they say! Watch it!
Shetland is a Scottish television crime drama television series, made by ITV Studios for the BBC and broadcast on BBC One, that first broadcast on 10 March 2013. Initially based upon the novels of Ann Cleeves, the series was brought to screen by David Kane, who has remained a principal writer through all five series.
The series stars Douglas Henshall as Jimmy Perez, a detective inspector working for the Shetland police, Alison O'Donnell as Detective Sergeant Alison "Tosh" Macintosh, and Steven Robertson as Detective Constable Sandy Wilson. Mark Bonnar, Lewis Howden, Erin Armstrong, Julie Graham, and Anne Kidd are also credited as principal members of the cast.[1]
The story takes place largely on the eponymous Scottish archipelago, although much of the series' filming takes place on the Scottish mainland,[2] with only some location filming actually taking place on Shetland.[3] Five series have been broadcast to date.[4] Douglas Henshall won the 2016 BAFTA Scotland award for best actor for his role as Jimmy Perez, and the series received the award for Best TV Drama.[5]

I binged both seasons of Mindhunter pretty quickly. Liked it a lot, although Anna Torv's second season plot line was a disappointing waste.

Undercover- Belgium - 2019 - 5 episodes in and it is very good. Has convincing voice overs, if you don't like subtitles. A Netflix original. Well written and directed and good cinematography.

My wife and I are watching our way, via on demand cable, through the very clever, weird, funny and imaginative ‘Bob’s Burgers’ animated series. We are tickled and genuinely laugh during each episode. I love the voices and could not pick a favourite character. Highly recommended! I like Bob's Burgers but I don't know anyone else who can stand it. My wife and son holler if I put it on.

Watched Episode 1 one of The Mandalorian last night. Fantastic. Excellent dose of GOOD Star Wars on the small screen. They did a bang up job. I wouldn't mind watching it, but I don't want to pay for another streaming service. I looked at the rest of their programming and they don't have much else we would watch. My son says he will get it just to see The Mandalorian, so I might get a chance.

I just bought the first season of The Invaders from 67. I was too busy with school, work, and scouts to watch much TV between ' 63 and '74. I saw a half episode on one of the cable channels and thought I would give it a go.

I might have seen a few episodes of "Star Trek", "The Prisoner" and "Fame is the Name of the Game".

This held up through 10 episodes and the storyline is resolved, with an opportunity presented for another season, which I would welcome.

Season 3 of The Crown is streaming now. We're up to episode 5.
It's OK, but not as good as the earlier ones. Olivia Colman has replaced Claire Foy as the middle aged Elizabeth.

I realize they have to age, but Claire Foy and Matt Smith are hard to top. Only episode 1 in season 3 and I thought it very dour, verging on depressing.

Netflix: Berlin Babylon. Ambitious, bold Neo-Noir. Berlin Weimar Republic, circa 1929. Period details and sets are superb. One continuous storyline over 2 seasons (with a 3rd coming). Co- directed by Tom Tykwer (Run, Lola, Run). Dubbing in English is acceptable if you have issues with subtitles.
Don't miss it.

6 Seasons of Place To Call Home, good story about a woman who converts her religion in France before the war, marries a Jewish Dr, he’s taken away by the Nazis and she is put in concentration camp, she survives and flees to Australia. It’s a long story , I like stories.

Netflix: Safe - 2 episodes in and looking good so far. Stars Michael C. Hall (Dexter) playing a Brit and the accomplished, red haired French actress, Audrey Fleurot (Spiral).
