I could not handle "Deadwood". All that dirty talk had me embarrassed and ashamed for them. Such low people. Sinners all. The likes of them are not welcome in my Living Room. Sniff! Nose elevated to 45 degrees. I just didn't think anyone cussed more than me... Deadwood proved me wrong... !%#&^🤯👺@!$#

Nose elevated to 45 degrees. Half of the vocabulary used in the making of Deadwood I have not used in my lifetime. I’m shocked that Andrew “ Dice “ Clay was overloaded in the making of Deadwood......lol

I am not quite as prudish as inferred but Deadwood was too much for me.

Without reading all the posts to see if it was already mentioned, people today in my home said that Chernobyl is a great series.

Over the last several years, I've become increasingly aware of how gratuitous sex & senseless violence on TV seeps into our subconscious. Our subconscious does not differentiate between what's real & fiction. (Video games first brought this to my attention. I found myself falling asleep with fight scenes replaying in my minds eye) While at my laptop a few years ago there was some cop show playing in the background. Not that I was paying any attention but the dialogue & violence got me to the point where I simply did not want to hear it. So now I'm rather aware of what I feed into my subconscious. Now I mainly watch sci-fi, documentaries & cartoons. Although I'm 59yo, my favourite TV show that I watch nightly is the kids cartoon Dragon Riders. The characters in the newer version are all grown now so it's much improved from the original series. I'm sure, if many were examined on that, the results would be frightening. Broken record here.... that is why I like the British, Irish, and Australian crime shows on Britbox and Acorn. They do not depend on grisly scenes and sensationalism, it is about great plots and great acting.

Working my way through "Lawman" starring John Russell. My kind of TV. I give it an 8/10. Love it!

Watching Silent Witness, British Series about Pathologists who are also involved in victims cases, very good stories, longest running TV series in Britain.

Recently watched the reboot of The Prisoner. I was prepared to hate it, but it was actually okay, though it could never top the original series.

I watched Longmire for about 4 seasons, then they lost me. I watch very little tv. Here at my son-in-law's, we sometimes watch a bit of Diesel Brothers and Forged in Fire. That's about it.

I got a kick out of Longmire, especially Graham Greene's character, the former Chief of Tribal Police and Walt's father, the former Sheriff, Peter Weller. First time I got to appreciate Lou Diamond Phillips- Henry Standing Bear. Katie Sackhoff is also mighty "interesting".

I just watched the first 2 seasons of ‘Designated Survivor’. The third season was released on Netflix three days ago. It’s a really intense, non-stop thriller and I highly recommend it. Kiefer Sutherland fans will rejoice.

I enjoyed it for awhile, but these shows always seem to eventually degenerate into emotional, over-dramatic soap operas, and they drag the original premise out until I don't even care any more. Remember "The Mentalist"? After so many seasons, I was finally almost rooting for Red John, just because I wanted SOMETHING to be completed.

If it were not for Robin Tunney, I probably would not have watched the show.

Sarafrosh 21: Saragarhi 1897.. WHAT A SHOW!! It is an Indian fictionial drama based on the battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikh soldiers of the 36TH Sikh Regiment of the British army held off 10,000 invading Afghan soldiers. It was an amazing story and now I need to wait for Kesari to come to Netflix, that is a Bollywood film of the same battle!

I hope those Indian Army troops were equipped with the Magazine Lee-Enfield Rifle and not something obsolete. The Brits had a bad habit of denying their colonial troops the benefits of modern arms and training.

First episode and half of the second of Black Mirror. Negative 1057 out of 10. The Europeans are NOT like us.

A few eps of Designated Survivor to go to finish off Season 3. Like it, but too many diversions and personal side stories to rate it tops. Too much whispering by Sutherland, same as in 24 (the whispering, that is.)

First episode and half of the second of Black Mirror. Negative 1057 out of 10. The Europeans are NOT like us. That is true enough. Jerry Lewis was a laugh riot in France. Germans found nothing amusing about John Banner or Werner Klemperer in "Hogan's Heroes".
