Robinson's Pipe Blend in the very first pipe I ever smoked (which was my father’s pipe), a late 1950s smooth with etched grooves straight Willard long stem adjustomatic Canadian with a black vulcanite stem. Stopped by JR's in Burlington on my way home from the dentist, and bought a bunch of pipes cleaners. That store sure looks pitiful now.

An interesting day, you are never to old to learn or remember, synchronicity hits you like a bolt of lightening at times, service & a friend or a difficult dog or a difficult pipe or a difficult neighbour, all have a common axis at times , myself & my relationship with God or the Unknown or the great spirit or my unconscious or my pipe or dog, & my breath, my very heart beat...smoked my MM country gent & great Dixter walking Pop. I will have a sip of Benedictine liquor and thank Abba for small mercies. My new Mr Brog tamper tool set & bottle opener.

Now smoking Leavitt & Peirce Twainberry in a 1975 medium bend sandblasted looking, smooth on the sides yellow Pioneer meer with a black vulcanite stem. Working and listening to the MLB talk on the XM. Had to go google this blend Jim! Ah yes the old tobacconists. Sad to see the decline of them. My local is the oldest in Cape Town, but does not have much to offer the pipe smoker nowadays. Presbyterian Melange in a Peterson Antique Collection bent billiard for breakfast, immediately followed by another bowl in a small pYp cutty with orange cumberland stem. Amphora Full Aroma in a couple of MM Legends at work.
