As I sit here, packing a bowl of Early Morning Pipe, I wonder:
With Dunhill Pipe and Cigars biting the dust, what is the future for this shop?
Will Dunhill continue to release tobaccos on a limited basis for this store only?
This store is all about pipes and cigars, I just can't imagine them switching to being a cigarette shop.
Has anyone ever visited this place? What were your thoughts? Next I am in London, I will definitely stop by this place, as well as Gawith Hoggarths... 200+ year old machinery, still in use. Amazing!

I have a friend who just got back from London and that shop no longer sells any Dunhill labeled tobacco products. As he told me, all they will do is sell their pipes and blend tobaccos in store in the White Spot shop next door. Even the pipes are no longer labeled Dunhill, just "White Spot". Dunhill only sells high end goods and no longer wants to be associated with tobacco. "... times they are a changin "

I am pretty sure that their new pipes are labelled this way, someone correct me if I am wrong: "Alfred The White spot Dunhill" Dunhill seems to own that whole corner, and their business is not solely tobacco of course, they have a lot of high-end products in there. They've been branching out to other markets to reach the wider (non-tobacco) consumer base since the 60s at least, though. I admit, I'm not Dunhill expert. I guess I could see them selling Lane and Sutliff and others in their shop. It would just be sad to see the blends disappear completely. Even if they were marked way up, it would be nice if they were still produced on a limited scale for their London White Spot store only.

The current pipe production is marked as you say but he told me all the newer pipe s will be marked White Spot only. Alfred Dunhill as we knew it is no more after December of this year. As far as the cigs go, They are selling much, much better than all the pipe related products and besides BAT OWNS the Dunhill brand as far as cigs go !

Alfred Dunhill is rolling in his grave.
I am sure that in the boardroom meetings, there are things discussed about where the profits are trending that we are not privy to, but you should also remember who brought you to the dance.
