I have a Chacom Anton (named after me ). Very good quality and an excellent smoker, with or without the screw-in stinger.

I have two Chacoms, no grandsons, and I am very happy with both of them.

Chacom makes some great looking pipes. Plus I’ve never heard any complaints how they smoke. If you see one you like at a reasonable price...buy it 👌👍👍

Yo stil
I was a fan of French pipes in general, and Chacoms in particular, even before they reintroduced themselves in the US market. I continue to be impressed with their quality and puffability. Highly under-rated for no good reason.

Chacom is part of Comoys pipes, so I suppose they would have similar quality, been with them a while too. Good pipes

Chacom evolved from Comoy's pipes. They are now a separate entity marketed as part of a large French consortium, consisting of several makes.

I have had two Chacom pipes, and both were bad gurglers. How far from the bottom is the draft hole? Could be an easy fix👍

My chacom has the opposite effect it smokes like a cob at least so I've heard people say, no gurgle, never tried a cob though.

I'm told the tapered pot pipe is good for flake, but it smokes everything I put through it.

Yeah they have nice creative attention to detail, like they have a 2nd sense of care in mind for the customer. Highly underated as I keep thinking every smoke. Mines older than most, and impossible to find anything on the champagne pipes so as a collecter/ pipe historian that salt in wounds for such a fine pipe.

Here's a true pic of my chacom along with the few pipes I've got from the "estate salesman" imgur.com/gallery/VbJ4aJWIt pretty evident which is the chacom.
