My first pipe of the day is HU Nashville County in a 2007 Peterson St. Patrick’s Day billiard with a sterling silver band and vulcanite stem. Sometimes reaming a pipe can make a tremendous impact on the tobacco taste.
Edit: It’s currently pouring and I’m stuck under an awning without an umbrella. I’m alright... I’m dry and I’m enjoying this pipe.

Negative. Dorchester is the only Esoterica blend that I've tried. I made a comment in another thread that I didnt want to try them because if I loved them, I knew what would happen. A little while later Darin told me he was sending me a sample... low and behold, the monster that was created is now hungry again...

Peter, I am fascinated by the rustication on that pipe. It is amazing! Don...Thanks...its a wonderful pipe...The rustication and carving are tied directly to the "new dear" type of work of the Ascorti brand..."Caminetto is very much a family brand, now with three generations of Ascortis all sharing their craft under this name. Guiseppe Ascorti, or "Peppino" to his friends, was one of the original founders of the marque and played a large role in the brand's early success. Ascorti later left Caminetto to continue his craft, but the "Pipa Del Baffo" ("the pipe with the mustache") still held a special place in the hearts of the Ascorti family. This legacy is what led Peppino's son, Roberto, to revive the old Caminetto name we know and love today."

Another beauty by Ron. Just popped the tin of Six Pence by C&D in a cob. Very nice blend. Tin was bulging so it has aged very nicely. (2016 tin date)

I was just thinking... it's only 3 days into this month and were on page 12 already. Sure there is some chit chat, but we smoke up a lot of tobacco. We'll see. When logging in all this week, I have noticed WAYS halfway down the main page. It should be consistently at the top.

Good evening, you all. The after-dinner smoke; Red Orlik in a Royal Copenhagen pipe designed by Jørn Micke for their competition in 1971. Jørn Micke won first and third prizes and Ib Loran second prize. King Frederik the IXth was an avid pipe smoker, Royal Copenhagen made him a pipe set for his 70th birthday in 1969 and a couple of years later, they got the idea of starting a production for the Great Unwashed, hence the 1971 competition.
