I've thought about it for a bit and decided I'd let folks know who they are communicating with...like your beard...my hair is longer now...other than that...its just me... ...lol... my goatee and mustache is gone, and I've spent the last year and a half growing a ponytail... Oh Martin, time to post a new selfie👍

thanx Ted. I'll repeat.....LOTS uglier.
my fav for many yrs...Western Swing (think Asleep at the Wheel tributes to original TX playboys). I'd better classify myself as a jazz violinist as my bowing for bluegrass just sucks pondwater.

Half is mixed with 15% perique, and I think I'll mix perique in all of it . The perique takes off the slight rough edge or slight harshness that I find it has, and gives it a little fig-ish undertone to boot. Interesting thing about perique, by itself it's pretty rough, but a bit mixed tends to smooth the rough edges of a lot of tobac i find. I do believe that's how VaPers came about.

My last pipe of the day is 2007 C&D Sunday Picnic in a Peterson Aran billiard with a vulcanite stem. I opened this tin about six hours ago. The broken flakes were mahogany dark brown, and quite moist. slowroll I’m thinking about having a Manhattan Special now. Enjoy them.

I forgot to add that when i mix it , I put it in a vacuum bag to compress it for about a week or so. Makes a difference. Then you also get to play with a crumble cake.

On the road again this week, GA this time. By the time I got to the hotel last night, 12 midnight, I was bushed and called it a night.
This evening, after dinner with a colleague, we found our way to the deck/patio of the hotel and I broke out an 858.
After a couple of beers it was time for a bowl of 10 YO MM965. Man I love that blend.
Got some early appointments tomorrow, prolly gonna call it a night.
