Coffee is brewing, unfortunately is auto drip but we will get by. As of now I'm loading a bowl of Early Morning and will be sitting on the deck with Theo. For some reason which is unknown to me I always seem to go with Early Morning at this time of the day?

Billy Budd Blonde. Had to buy a new sander. I need to drop it and get some paint on it to get the new off.

Good morning everyone. Had a very delicious bowl of Murray’s Yachtsman Plug yesterday in a 60’s Dr Grabow Grand Duke lovat and forgot to post. This morning I’m starting with Orlik Golden Sliced in an MM Country Gent cob after eating a hearty bowl of oatmeal with two tablespoons of flax seed, honey and whole milk and colluding with the Russians a bit drinking Dazbog Russian Roulette coffee blend. A pretty good gourmet coffee brand made by Leningrad immigrants right here in Denver.

Used that to smooth it out and then hand sanded everything. Waiting on wood conditioner to soak in then it's time for stain. A cob of Red Odessa with a glass of water

After the week I've had any coffee is good but as a general rule you are correct hotel room coffee is cheap and barely drinkable

Drexel VIII loaded up. Waiting on stain to dry. Quick loose packed bowls since I'm busy, have stuff on my hands and am playing the waiting game.
I was smart though and packed a few pipes before I started this morning.

1 coat of varnish on, Pirate Kake in the pipe. If it's not dry by the time this pipe is finished, it can wait until tomorrow.

Enjoyed some pizza and a slice of chocolate chess pie for lunch, and am now smoking Drexel VIII in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Have enough left for another bowl or so. A bottle of Boylan's Birch Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching the Braves-Rockies game.
