Part way through this bowl of Drexel VIII in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. A bottle of Cheerwine made with pure cane sugar is my drink. The stars are aligned!

Good Early Afternoon Pipers! Totally smoky conditions here in the Bend/Redmond, Oregon area. We have a few fires that have been burning-up a few thousand acre's plus. Numerous planes carrying fire retardant have been taking-off and landing from Redmond Airport to assist firefighters on the ground. I believe these courageous individuals have the fires contained between 60 and 65 percent at this time. The sooner the better for the Central Oregon area!
Manil' Le Petit Robin in the Comoy Blue Riband 182 Billiard. Not too bad. It kind of reminded me of when I used to smoke Camel Non-filters back in 1972 (I'm sure todays blend of Camel' is no way near what the 72' blend was). We'll see what a few more bowls of this does for me in a couple of different pipes.
BTW, we're in no way in danger here due to the fire. Its mainly out in the open hills and mountain areas, and hopefully it will extinguish soon...

Bowl full of SWR (thank you, AJ).
AJ made a blend that is just plain delicious (not plain at all). Nothing to do with the above bowl of SWR.

Mark ^^^^^^^ I hope they get the fires near you under control fast....with no major issues. Be safe along with your family ππ Thank you Ted. Me too! Here's a link to the Central Oregon Fire Map for your review. It's give you a better idea where exactly the fires are located: www.centraloregonfire.org/wildfire-smoke-air-quality-maps/I have a co-worker that lives in the Lake Billy Chinook area, and claims the Tenino fire was started by lightning. The way some of these fires are burning throughout Oregon and Washington, one may be thinking "arson" as well. I just have a hard time believing this many fires were started by "natural" causes. BTW, Wolfman Sam, I forgot to mention earlier in my last post, that Dunhill Rhodesian is sure a beauty, and I hope that you get a good number of smokes from it!

So I woke up this morning about 6:30 and decided that I would really like to have a cup of coffee and smoke a bowl of early morning. Made the coffee walked outside loaded my bowl and I'm about to toast it off for the first time. Kind of curious as to whether or not I'll be arrested I hope some of you have bail money lol Why would you be arrested..? Were you wearing your birthday suit..?

How boring this must be
