Yesterday, from early afternoon on, smoked Billy Budd Blonde in one of various Savinelli 320 EXes. Just about continuous smoking of said tobacco in said pipes, until about 2:30 AM or so.
Binge watched the entire first season of Bosch.

Back home, and now smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. A bottle of Mountain Dew made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching The Bob Newhart Show.

Now smoking MacBaren Modern Virginia Flake in a post WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 Bulldog with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. Getting some work done.

Package came today with four new tobaccos to me. I bought all of them based on recommendations from you guys and gals. Currently, Lane 1Q in a MM Cherry Hardwood. Excellent smoke so far thank-you very much. Drinking a cold Hamm’s after a day of yard work. Next up is Edward G Robinson Pipe Blend. Hmmm, I wonder where I got the idea for that one?  I’ll keep ya posted. |

Walt, it’s a good Kentucky, Perique and Virginia blend. The Virginia gets better with age definitely but the liquor it’s topped with is not as noticeable after 3 years...it’s way in the background.....I’m fine with that. It smokes best with 1 to 4 years of aging. I’d imagine if you let the blend age for 8 plus years it would still be a sweet tasting blend👍👍 |

Just set fire to Edward G Robinson’s in MM Cherry Hardwood. Sipping on Cruzen rum, Fresca, and a splash of red wine. Very refreshing in this 90F weather. BTW, the tobacco is definitely a keeper!
