Now that I found out Wilke can send me more Rumcake, I opened up a jar tonight and enjoyed a bowl in a Kaywoodie bent billiard that I have been fighting with for a while. There was something caught in the stinger that I was finally able to work out. So, broke one pipe and get another one working...karma in practice.

Today was a "Work from the Home Office" (mancave) day. ;-) Got through with my dozens of phone calls, reports and logistics work this afternoon. Being that is was 93 degrees out with a heat index of 104, I decided not to go golfing and instead found my way to our local B&M. I grabbed an 858 from their humidor and sat down in one of the leather chairs in the lounge... I'm now up in the cave, smoking FMATP in my Charatan. Sippin Scotch.

Today would have been Jack "King" Kirby's 101st birthday. He was the greatest of all the comic book creators and artists. My hero and friend. Happy birthday, Jack. Happy Birthday, King Kirby! His work and the work of others he inspired helped me through a difficult childhood.
