2244 stopped in Winslow Arizona will continue on tomorrow. Albuquerque didn't impress this very much but I did get to eat some Der Wienerschnitzel

2244 stopped in Winslow Arizona will continue on tomorrow. Albuquerque didn't impress this very much but I did get to eat some Der Wienerschnitzel Too bad. Albuquerque is a great town if you go to the right places. I do agree that it isn't a major tourist destination. |

True - some very cool places and neighborhoods in Abq., but lots and lots of ugly sprawl, too, which probably makes them hard to find. |

On our first flight to Albuquerque it was just various colors of dirt from the air and we weren't impressed. Now you can't see the dirt for all the houses. Still a lot of great places if you know how to find them. And it's a good place to stay while you are exploring the rest of the state. Santa Fe is a day trip with lunch in Madrid. |
