I purchased 2 lbs of PS Luxury Bullseye Flake from Pipes & Cigars during their 25% off sale with free shipping using the special "HEATWAVE" code. My order arrived well packaged and the tobacco appears to already be well aged. The outer ring of VaPer is almost as dark as the black Cavendish center. Great price, service, and product. No complaints. đź‘Ť

No complaints.  👍 They can be hit or miss. I do better on smaller orders than large. I just got my replacement items and they are small but put in a really large box. Its 21x17x9 inches and with just some air bags for packing so things got tossed all around. The two things of tobacco are fine but the clay pipe again is broken because the packing was too inadequate.

Sorry to hear that you had problems again. I've had questionable packaging from them before as well, but my orders have been small and usually bulk tobacco - nothing fragile, so no harm done.

Take a pound of that LBF and store it away for about 5 years...you will be amazed at the sweetness of the tobacco.

Just got in an order of 22 tins from P&C two days ago and 10 of the tins were dented. I sent a message to customer service about it this morning. Odd thing is the package seemed to be packed well - tins were in bubble-wrap envelopes and void space was filled with air-cell packing. I am confident that customer service will make this right; they always have in the past for me. Here's a couple of the dents:

P&C should either pay for return shipping or give you a decent discount so you can check and jar all the dented tins. Good luckđź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Good luckđź‘Ťđź‘Ť With me I called them and they sent replacements but I have to hold on the box, packing and damaged goods for 30 days incase UPS wants to pick them up for inspection. After 39 days and nothing I can throw them away. OK... I guess and they were good on replacing my damaged goods.

I would assume it were common sense let alone for those who distribute pipe and tobacco products. I guess not so the replacement came in broken too and I just told them to refund the money. I had words I wanted to express of certain thoughts but the woman on the phone I'm sure dint care, hears a lot of it every day and its just a job to her answering phones. Most of all, she dint pack it. I'd be expressing a negative mood to someone who did nothing but try to replace my broken item for a second time.

I've seen enough of these issues that I only use them for their exclusive blends. It's a real shame, they could fix this reputation with just a tiny bit of QC in the packing department.
The in stock/backordered issue... I haven't experienced but it would make me slightly nuts I think.
I guess I could just drive up there once every couple months and skip the whole shebang.

It sucks because I really like the Peterson color scheme that are exclusive for P&C. As of earlier, they even had the shape I like. But I absolutely refuse to give them $1 more.

… I ordered 3 tins of BlackHouse around 7:30 AM yesterday morning...P&C policy is that if you order by 2 PM it ships the same day...not so...this is the third time and this order won't leave the warehouse until at least next Tuesday...Pretty much had it with P&C and their bloody inconsistent customer service!

Sal is about the only one who gets it right and hasn't lied to me. Melahnie, Berlin, and Kaitlan can kiss my arse...liars each and every one of them....and the reason I am done with them. Sal,is a good guy. He will tell you the truth and gets it right every time.

Well, another P&C "surprise". Last time I ordered Esoterica and Germain's 99% of the order wasn't filled. Got a call from a CS rep (Sal) explaining that since they couldn't fill me order next time they get more I'll get my share. Well, P&C had another shipment, new orders got filled. My orders? Nope. I'm done with P&C.

It's always worked for me, I have even called and said "Hi Amanda this is Jack in North West Arkansas can you please charge me for a pound of 965 and Ed will pick it up in a few days and every time Amanda says sure can Ed makes me laugh" So try calling the physical store
