Smoking some half n half out of an old villa deluxe one off, which for whatever reason has chosen only to smoke half n half properly.
And for that I am glad as I'd had no idea a pipe could choose a tobacco.

it has been a blast! we met a couple at the factory tour yesterday and they live 20 minutes from us. we've already made plans to meet up at pipe club on Tuesday and to exchange cookouts in the near future. they are a blast! Glp westminster in the RM Perkins Ballerina, shes graceful and smokes like a dream. Drinking a mtn dew and winding out a seriously busy day. Got 99% done and it was a whirlwind. My place, my parents place and back to my place. Glad its done but tired out and sore.

Smoked only 1 bowl of this...not bad...but too early to tell. Have to try it in a cob and at least 2 or 3 more bowls to tell. I've had this for about 4 years sitting in the cellar...decided to try it out as I was looking for something different today. I'll post my thoughts on it after I've had enough to know something. I'm no JimInks so it will be a short and hopefully to the point review...no real discernible palette on my end. Smoking a bowl of MacB's HH Burley Flake blended with JKP in a bent square shanked apple (?).  |
