Smoking some half n half out of an old villa deluxe one off, which for whatever reason has chosen only to smoke half n half properly. And for that I am glad as I'd had no idea a pipe could choose a tobacco.

The FVF your smoking from 2012 should be outstanding, I find it smokes best with 5 plus years of aging.....enjoy!!

It sounds like you had a great time. How did you like their new blends? they were pretty good. i think the red VA will be really good when it gets some age on it, at least that was the speculation at our table

Dan's "Buddies" (orange/vanilla aro) in a painted black Legend cob. Tobacco is meh...first time trying it. How is it? Is the Orange overwhelming? Smoked only 1 bowl of this...not bad...but too early to tell. Have to try it in a cob and at least 2 or 3 more bowls to tell. I've had this for about 4 years sitting in the cellar...decided to try it out as I was looking for something different today. I'll post my thoughts on it after I've had enough to know something. I'm no JimInks so it will be a short and hopefully to the point review...no real discernible palette on my end. Smoking a bowl of MacB's HH Burley Flake blended with JKP in a bent square shanked apple (?).
