I was there in february of this year for a tour of the museum and the ipsd meeting. I'm Josh, from way downstate. Associated with Arrowhead courtesy of that shifty Lawitzke fellow. Thanks! that's the nicest thing that anyone has said about me all day. Then again it’s the only thing that anyone has said about me all day....

Welcome from another michigander I'm in the sw corner. Splitting the difference between Detroit and Chicago. If your anywhere near grand rapids on the last monday evening of the month you should swing by indian river tobacco traders for the Furniture City Pipe Society meeting. Buncha guys and gals smoking baccy and talking over this crazy world. Or the third tuesday of the month is the Arrowhead Pipe Club meeting at Paul's Pipe shop in Flint. Great buncha guys there as well, though I dont know them as well since I only see them on occasion. Did you go out to Pauls sometime last year with a few other guys and a girl to check out the pipe museum? One guy with longish hair and glasses got a pack of no filter lucky spots, if so I may have met you. I'm really close to Pauls. Just a few towns over. Welcome to The Patch from the Battle Creek area. If you go to Paul's Pipe Shop often enough, you'll eventually run into me. I don’t get there as often as I’d like to, but I’m unpaid staff at the shop and run basement and museum tours there.

Welcome from another Michigander. In the GR area and a member of Arrowhead at Paul’s. Worth the drive when I have time. Wish I could get there more frequently. Not sure if are interested, but the IAPSC World Pipe Smoking Contest (slow smoke) is fast approaching in October in Swartz Creek. Shoot me or johnlawitzke a PM and we can give you details.

Also, the IAPSC World Pipe Contest and Show will be in Flint on Oct 26 & 27 at the American Legion Hall in Swartz Creek. Stop past Paul's and pick up a flyer. Hope to see you there!

Will do. I have family spread out from Monroe county to Muskegon. The majority are in Grand Rapids, I miss the REAL Polish food. You dont get that in south Georgia.
And I must disagree about nothing to do but smoke a pipe. There was always something to do when I lived there. I love it outdoors and to me, Michigan was paradise.
Want to do nothing? Come down here.
