I will get the box shipped off by the day after labor day.... Frankly, I have been so busy that I have hardly delved into it...I dd notice that several blends seem quite dry, no blame on any box pass participant, I think it is just the nature of the beast, the more I see of mylar the less I am impressed.
I have a few blends that Dan Jonson made and sent me in mylar, I have been very good at making sure the ziploc type closure is sealed, but they are dried out.
Will post an update prior to departure.

I tried to cull the really dry stuff form the box, Charlie, but it is a well traveled package. There are still many fine smokes to be had...I guess my earlier comment was first impressions as the first 4 or 5 mylars felt kind of dry. If someone down the line were to buy several hydratiion discs and a bottle of distilled water, a week treatment for the dry ones would revive them...the process works really quick in a mylar bag...and of course they could cull their discs before sending it on, or donate discs in lieu of tobacco...just a suggestion.As I said earlier, I had hardly touched anything...the tin of Joie De Vivre caught my eye, it is one I have been wanting to try, so I took a bit and bagged the rest. I also upened the tin of Cup O Joe's Maricoxi, and culled a small sample, bagged the rest. What I added: 1 Tin Dunhill Elizabethean 1 tin C& D Small batch (hopefully not moldy, I smoked 2 tins and they were fine)2.5 oz. Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong Flake 1.7 oz of Old Dark Fired in Mason 2.5 oz. McClellands 2010 in Mason 2oz.? of Queen Anne's revenge in Mason Being the cheapskate I am I added a private shipment to save shipping charges Darin (Cobguy) of Christmas cheer and "a little something" else. I know whe haven't shipped Mason jars in the past, but I put the jars in opposite corners, and plenty of tobacco pipillows, if someone wants to transfer them to Mylar, that would be fine..I am (as ususal) pressed for time. Managing this thing is like juggling chain saws. The next person is peteguy in Utah and then Baboo. Sorry if there's confusion here but I am trying to manage several things at once and now that War Horse is finally released my days have become a tad busier on the business.
