Best wishes for the success of your club. We've been at it for 6 years and some wonderful friendships have resulted from our get togethers.

I wish you every success. With a load of pipe smokers together, what could go wrong?

I wish you every success. With a load of pipe smokers together, what could go wrong? Ummmmmm....some person showing up smoking cigarettes....it’s happened to me a few times. I was never able to tolerate cigarette smoke. Must have been all the additives the FDA finally figured out. Now us pioe smoers will be paying the price!!

I grew up in Toledo and visited regularly when my parents were stil alive. I'm glad to hear of this club developing. If I ever get the urge to make a return visit I will try to arrange it around your meeting. I haven't been to that tobaccanists, but I have frequented shops in a Maumee and Waterville.

My wife and I are going to make a day of it, stop at some antique places maybe. We have a hotel for the night so we don’t have to drive home at night.

Well, found out this morning that the first meeting was cancelled “do to unforeseen circumstances”. Going to try and cancel the hotel room, but if not able to, my wife and I will be at the smoke shop at 6:30!

Cancelled my room. I will post again when the meeting is rescheduled. I don’t know if any of the guys organizing the club are here in the Patch, if you are sing out. I will certainly encourage them to join the Briarpatch at my first opportunity!
