I need to update mine. The shelf is no longer the cellar really as its filled with 4oz wide mouth mason jars, each a different blend. The cellar or long term storage has been moved to a closet and put into boxes so they stay cool and dark.
I'd say now that when it comes to matching my wife's clothing collection, my tobacco and camera gear while still not even with her, is starting to get there. lol

Pretty meager compared to so many heavy hitters on the Patch. But at the rate I smoke tobacco, this is about 10 years worth of tobacco.
not meager at all compared to others. You've done well.

The rest of my cellar sans the Esoterica and McClelland I already posted. I really feel I have a long way to go.

The day has came, as soon as I have some coffee I'll drag it all out. It needs to be sorted out and organized anyway.
Today is 1 year of pipe smoking... I made it!
Stay tuned...

I think you would do well at making a pipe...you have the original talent of someone who has no fear about trying something you have had only thoughts about.

Well here it is. I concentrated mostly on bulks that I liked this year. Theres many tinned blends that i like, but most are difficult to track down. I just grab them when I can. Here's the bulk along with tins or boxes that were opened and jarred. And the meager selection of tins. There is more Marlin Flake tucked away And here it is all packed away Good start for year 1?

The bulk is mostly things that have been stated in the WAYS thread. A good portion is C&D Red Odessa, Sutliff 515, PS Proper English, the PS Luxury flakes/coins, and C&D Bayou night.
Honorable mention: 5100, Vintage Syrian, BlackBerry Brandy, Voodoo Queen, Sutliff Virginia Slices.

Josh, in such a short period of time youβve developed a fine collection of tobaccoβs. Good for you now and for your future smoking pleasure πππ

I would say not too bad at all, very nice cellar. What sizes (& numbers) are your Mason jars?

The majority are pints with between 3 and 3 1/2 ounces stuffed into them. Some are closer to 4. There are roughly 80-90 of those. I have 1/2 pint jars for flakes, kakes and 5100. And then theres a couple smaller ones with flakes in them as well. The bigger jars are the back are DFK for blending.
All together, over 100 jars.

You've done well Josh. I'm going to get everything together next Sunday for my 6 months in. Kim is headed to New York and it's best to not let her see how much I really have. She knows I have a lot but doesn't know how much.

When she see's I get something in I tell her I got on sale and she tells me I did good.

You have a nice stash of tobacco and pipes as well. Glad you got the totes...that is what I did too...got 3 and a small one for the pipes. Remember all those plastic meat containers...holds pipes very nicely so you can grab it and run when you need to.

When she see's I get something in I tell her I got on sale and she tells me I did good. Most things? Yes. Pipes and tobacco? No. She's pretty tolerant really. Just thinks I'm nuts in regard to TAD/PAD ... and she's probably right.

I usually ask her to let know when she's done and I'll come back in.
