...not a happy camper... I'm serious about the words I write... an editor is only welcome if the publisher is paying one a huge sum of $$... I don't think "a**" is a particularly offensive word, anymore than "arse" is...

I have no problem saying “ jackass “ on here:
1. a stupid person.
2. a male arse or donkey.
I did spell the word a s s properly.....auto correct is “ on “ within the host domain

He will notice this issue once again👍 ...I believe I have been careful in keeping my utterings to at least a "PG" level... but censorship of any stripe raises my hackles... especially when were talking about a word like "a**". It's a benign word... everyone has one. |

Yeah, I think most of us are adult enough to speak the words we mean and mean the words we speak. If, however, this makes "Sparks" happy, I'll go along with it. This forum and the character of the members is worth it to me to put up with "auto-correct".

I do miss the old days when we could swear. It was interesting though, for about a year we all did and then I noticed folks on their own start self-censoring, and quit cussing. Only after that did we get the auto-correct.
Hey, I owe Justin for creating, paying for and maintaining the place though, so am happy with whatever rules he wants.

The way I see it, someone might get offended by other's swearing, but if nobody swears then nobody gets offended by the lack of swearing.
So the latter causes least offence.
