@walkman ........Great collection of nose warmers posted in this thread, guys! I purchased a Savinelli Series III Unfinished 644 KS Bent Brandy recently. I didn't realize it when I bought it, because dimensions weren't provided, but at 4.75" in length, I believe it qualifies as a nose warmer. I think you have one of these 644 KS pipes, lonecoyote . Is yours this short? I love the shape and it smokes wonderfully, but my face was in a cloud of smoke from start to finish. I awoke this morning with irritated sinuses and a sore throat, which I still have. Guess I'm not cut out for nose warmers. I'll see how it does with other blends, but may need to have another saddle stem made to extend it to ~6.0". Exactly like yours and a great smoker. I buff down with bee’s wax and it’s getting a nice rich color. Randy, you got yourself a great smoker...congratulations 👍👌👍 Thanks, Ted. In retrospect, many here mentioned that they like nose warmers for clenching when they're out and about. I was in my shop and sitting still when I smoked it.

I picked this up a few days ago. It looked to be in very good condition in the sellers pictures, only having some stem oxidation. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival that it was NOS unsmoked. Grabow Belvedere wire carved. I really like this Belvedere, Dave. She's a beauty!

I have this little guy I made around the end of December, I think. Not the BEST pipe I've made, but it's very serviceable, and one of my favorite smokers

I wonder how challenging it must be for a pipemaker to downsize so much in producing a pipe like the Belvedere’s posted, I would imagine that it has some challenges. it's actually just about the same, work wise. I've made a few small pipes lately, and they're no more challenging than the bigger version. The only thing that's slightly harder is getting the slot right, since it seems to look bigger on a smaller button. I actually like the way smaller pipes smoke. I had a good hour long smoke in one yesterday. The chamber was 3/4"x1.15", and it fit a little more than a coin of Escudo.

I don't smoke nose warmers. With my prominent beak it might be dangerous.

I consider some of these posted to be Miniatures not nose warmers. I would have defined it as a regular size bowl with a length of no more than 4"? Chalk up another dumb arse moment for me assuming I know anything without doing the proper research.

Excellent idea Ted. I don't know how to link but atm I'm the top bidder on the bamboo paneled Poker (It would be my first Poker AND my first bamboo pipe) I'll have to get up early for the end of the auction.

Here’s one of my favorites. 1902 BBB OWN Make. It’s just under 4 inches but it has a decent sized bowl. Dave, think of this little old pipe like an appliance. When they get old, you replace them with a new one. To help in the matter, I'll send you a brand new pipe and you can send this old thing to me and I'll dispose of it for you. ;-)

😂
This isn’t the first time I’ve heard that.
Several times I’ve had friends and family say, “ who knew people collect old used smoking pipes”
