Good day folks, One of those mornings when the maggots in the Apple make my IPad go "flakey" you have to be jovial, with the sands of time, one of those nights sigh... Anyway whiffing on a Royal Dutch blue mini cigar in my meer. , trying to get some order in the pipe & tobacco rotation to please the pedants. I have chosen my Parker to serve you this morning Ladies & gentlemen, a smoothie, a Rhodiesian half bent for now, Rhodes the first Jewel of the ClubMed before Malta took the Crown. So some of my morning mix of light English blends of Balkan basis of various quality blends mentioned in passing, elsewhere on this fine forum of quality friendly posters.

Whiffing on the remains of my mini cigar, I often look at the Gentlemans pipe smoking society on Facebook , as well as th e YT club,& usual sources , the Gent's society is thriving in many ways but I do not post because the staff & moderators are completely anonymous, my choice. But all respect to Sparks & John, for their transparency, and frankness, in their busy lives & giving me and all comers the opportunity to try our hands at different posts & threads, but like Jim , if I may say, I feel like I am hitting a brick wall at times, & I am discouraged at times because life is a stormy passage for us all , myself as much if not more than others, who might want to share , & stand up for our little hobby. ( As I light up my sweet G Dixter in the briar poker,) some ladies & gents have made kindly comments on my posts, but may I say do not practice what they "preach", but it is not meant as unkind criticism & I am not trying to be confrontational, so excuse me if this is out of order tfolks, everyone has a part in the " crew" whether staff or us guests, it is probably not my place to speak out like this, & I feel sometimes I may be part of the problem more than the solution, everyone fits I as they feel happy with, I would not want to put people out of their comfort zone. I very much understand busy working family people sitting back , but there must be retired or semi retired , or leisured folk , more experienced than myself who could contrubute with their vast experience , and large collection of pipe & tobacco and related miscellania & knowledge Wisdom to a quality open forum like this. Forgive me for being off thread Sparks &'John, but I felt that I had to get that of my chest, & if I hide it away in a thread elsewhere , I feel it will be ignored. I do not appreciate the technical problems & PC issues etc in running a forum like this , but again thanks for the staff for financing us & the man hours to maintain this forum. Some other forums I have tried have been very cut - rhroat , trollish & secretive, & allow post comment editing which has pros & cons the staff will appreciate more than I do. This may come across as a whinge or a rant, but maybe other older posters than myself feel the same way, but as I say I do not want to rock the boat ,maybe it is a Summer lull as Sparks said , & maybe the staff are happy with it as it is , and my posts & expectations are not in tune with the intentions of other posters, I appreciate there is the "Chats" etc. For letting of steam & such but I am rambling ,( not as much as some YT pipe club guys & gals , they can take 5 minutes lighting a pipe , trying to look cool , Hi...) So I will post and say what I have said , if anyone wants a dialogue or just comment it is ok, or just cuss if they feel , so be it... But I often find I can multi task a little posting on here , doing other things. Deo Gratis Again pardon the typos.
