Decided to have another bowl of 1960 Balkan Sobranie in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg with a black acrylic stem. It's held up pretty well. The Syrian latakia doesn't seem to have suffered with age.

Relaxing after a wonderful Mexican dinner and am smoking the last of my open stash of 1960 Balkan Sobranie in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg with a black acrylic stem. Age did not diminish this English blend, which greatly surprises me. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.
Btw, this is the first time since probably the 1970s that I have smoked the same blend three times in one day in the same pipe.

Morning gents.
Up and about, fresh coffee in the cup. Family comes into town this evening, and I'm confident we are ready. Finished up the lats bits of painting yesterday and got all of the blinds hung. At this point, all the major prep stuff is done. We can actually enjoy it all now.
Relaxing this morning with a bowl of C&D King Cake.

M'lady made home made egg cheese and country ham biscuits and I am part way through this bowl of Stonehaven in a 1984 black sandblasted straight Dunhill Shell 4103 Billiard with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Sprite is my drink. Watching Mad Dog Russo.
82 years ago today, Roberto Clemente was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Almost 44 years ago, he died while trying to help earthquake victims in Managua, Nicaragua. Happy birthday to The Great One, who was a hero to many of us fortunate enough to have seen him play. If you saw him, you never forgot him. He wasn't just a baseball player. He was a great humanitarian. His life was art. His death left us with an incomplete masterpiece. RIP Roberto.

G'day Y'All, I could smoke Condor forever at times ( in my long slow, Church Cossack), but I was tempted to order some Germain's quality tobacco's for a treat. Plum Cake Mixture Pipe Tobacco, 1820 Eighteen Twenty Mixture Pipe Tobacco , Uncle Toms Mixture Pipe Tobacco & some Royal Dutch half coronas , whatever makes you content....( also ordered a pair of Ukrainian Cossack folk pipes for my international guest pipes. ), I noticed the Team GB were doing jolly well in the Olympics, but a pity about the Russians , just not cricket folks.....makes me want to run the marathon with the good news an'all, Be seeing Y'All.

Evenin'folks here by the sea, I was listening to the BBC World Service discussing the observation of a mini Supernova becoming a White Dwarf the size of the Earth, so remembering my many years of scientific & religious education , I took my Church Cossack of Condor & a cup of milky Char & sugar, into my backyard observatory to see if I could observe this rare phenomena & in the East , southward , I observed this white dwarf with my pocket observatory, but before I could adjust the settings there was a Cry of the Muezzin on the hill & answered from the valley, & a great brown Jinn appeared over the white dwarf veiling it from my telescopic pocket observatory, so I waited silently & loaded some St Bruno into my modern scientific Chinese bamboo style pipe , after a few puffs the Jinn disappeared like a puff of cloud, & I got this unique photo of a white dwarf, does anyone know NASA's telephone number. It was only tobacco I was not hallucinating folks. I do not think I will get the Nobel prize or even a smile , but such is life in the pool of life, the yellow submarine is hunting for white dwarf watchers, but do not tell Ringo , he will be jealous. Luv Ya an Leave Ya... Starmen & gals.
