In partial celebration of the birth of my third grandchild last night I'm including a slice of lovely cheesecake to the breakfast, to go with the Panera bagel and Eight O'Clock Colombian Peaks coffee. A bowl of Sutliff Z50 Black Cordial is waiting in a Paul's Cayuga, an oil-cured stack billiard with a saddle stem.

Rattrays Three Noggins from a big Mason jar in a Sommer. Coffee is Starbyckys French Roast. I miss the old days when you could get some of Rattrays more popular blends in a giant bag and jar them up. Outside the Mosquitoes are thick as fog and the Ninja Chihuahua is a little under the weather or we would take a boat ride away from them. Yesterday the wife and I scooted across the lake for lunch with our daughter in the lil Boston Whaler. Best wishes for a great day to all.

mid-morning greets all. Hot cocoa at this desk, '06 daVinci in little pressed meer in smoking room. After return from urology PSA yearly doings, outdoor rags back on & out for more yard work. Same baccy in yard pipe(s). Later a no-band 5x50 for company on back porch & misc reading. Supposed to hit 50 eventually & clear

Real nice pipe Peter ^^^^^^^ is probably the only Savinelli finished pipe I’ve been keeping my eyes open for one used in good condition. I just missed out the other day by minutes, one was sold used in mint condition here on the Patch. Stunning picture as well, greatly appreciate you posting all the Indian Art.
Peter Stokkebye LBF dated 2007 on Mason Jar, just recently opened.
Pipe of choice: one of my favorites... restored to MINT condition...Ben Wade smooth flame grain Oom Paul pipe. Smokes as good as it looks!!

Billy Budd Blonde in a Peterson chimney.
Yumm puff puff yumm puff puff yumm puff puff
Coffee to drink. I am out of half and half, using evaporated milk. Its what I grew up with.
I am thinking that while evaporated milk is not my favorite way to drink coffee, it perhaps makes it a more ideal smoking coffee drink. Hmmmmmmm

Perhaps I am imagining this, but:
It seems that when I smoke BBB in a tall chimney stack I more distinctly detect the cigar leaf it contains. Something about the way a long thin tube of tobacco burns?
I could be deluded. It has happened before.

I too find the chamber size of a pipe plays a big roll on how well a particular tobacco smokes and tastes.

Just finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. Time for lunch and Mad Dog Russo.
