The long awaited War Horse Bar and War Horse Green are now available for pre-order on pipesandcigars.com. These have been a long time in coming. We hope you'll think they were worth the wait.

They must have hit the pre order limit pretty fast because they are now listed as out of stock and you can not place an order for them.

OK, I spent quite some time at CI today. I smoked both of the new blends and really like them a lot. Both bars are dense and took some effort to slice. Once they are cut they are easy to rub out and load. Both are strong blends so if you're looking for powerhouse blends then these will tickle your fancies. The War Horse Bar is a bit different from the Ready Rubbed and a very satisfying smoke. This will put you to bed. War Horse Green is not Condor but suggests an English plug with just a small bit of a floral hit but is not off putting to those who avoid Lakeland style blends. As to availability, our processer is under immense pressure to get many blends to market; just like other tobacco houses. It could be awhile before full stocks are on hand. Also, CI is implementing some systems changes at this time. Once their new computer systems are up the new blends will be able to be pre-ordered. All I can say is that War Horse Bar and War Horse Green are now official real products and we and CI will let you know when they can be pre-ordered

Nod, nod, wink, wink, say no more Baboo, it is hush , hush , for Central Intelligence ( Pipers ) , a businessman secret cult of devout wizards of the ancient order of Gandalf , a secret lodge of Bourne again magi, everyone in the little brown jug beer bars knows that. They communicate via crossword puzzle code internationally .

Just out of curiosity how strong are we talking here? If I could afford it I would make Royal Yacht my all day smoke. Never considered it overly strong but I know many others do. Same thing with D&R's Picayune. Some would say it is to strong but I like it. Although I think it needs to be rehydrated a bit.

Sam, it's been a while since I've smoked Royal Yacht but the War Horse Bar and Green are stronger to me. The thing is that both of these are so smooth you really feel the nic hit right off the bat.

Quite frankly, I was a little concerned when making the test batches that they might be too strong, but the hit is gradual and steady, so it never gets to be too much. I couldn't be much happier about the way the two plugs turned out.

My typing fingers slipped and I meant to say that you won't feel the nic hit from the start. It builds slowly and if you're used to nic heavy blends then this will be satisfying without being aggressive.

Be nice if we could get a BOLO a day or so before P&C and CI open the floodgates.

I will try to drop a note here when it hits the dock, but before it's checked in.
