They are a combination of banned members, those who quit and accounts that had been inactive for five or more years. Jiminks you’re everywhere!!!! Read your reviews all the time!

I remember that Dan posted that Lane Limited Cherry review on PSF. What a great sense of humor and a great guy. Mr Moo Forever!

Emeritus...... adjective: of the former holder of an office, especially a college professor, having retired but allowed to retain their title as an honor. This guy is a long term member of Tobaccoreviews.com.....lol those are various people that have passed away.

Passed gas? That is not a reason to revoke a membership, is it?

those are various people that have passed away. Usually those are members that have been banned from the site. Some might have passed?!?!?! I had read a few reviews there recently from people had passed and noticed the emeritus heading and assumed that applied to them all but was mistaken. Out of curiosity how could one possibly get banned from there?

I suppose if one was to use expletives or coarse language, or bad-mouthing another reviewer or review, that might be grounds for banning.

Passed gas? That is not a reason to revoke a membership, is it? Depends. (No pun intended.) If the offense transpires during the descent down 10 or more floors, inside an elevator that is full of people, then it could merit the death penalty, instantly administered by irate survivors.

That's wrong on many levels. 😉

Somebody posted a review 11 hours ago, and is now listed as an Emeritus Account. I've seen that before and don't understand why somebody would post a review, and then delete their account.

...the term "emeritus", by definition, indicates an honor. Ergo, if someone posting is "banned", I would hesitate to bestow the title, but I admit, in this case, it may be splitting hairs...

I never knew that. I like to know these things. Being dyslexic, I like to know what's right and wrong grammar-wise.

Seriously, it's better than saying "Deleted Account."
